The short version: hybrid.rtokit.com collects nothing about you. Every calculator and planner runs in your own browser, on your own device. The only third-party data flows on this site come from advertising technology — and we tell you exactly how that works and how to turn it off.

1. What information we collect

Nothing, and we mean it.

  • No accounts, no sign-up, no login.
  • No contact forms submit data to us — the contact page opens mailto: in your own email client, and you decide whether to hit send.
  • Your tool inputs (salary, mileage, room size, meeting notes, etc.) are stored only in your browser's LocalStorage, so your next visit restores your work. We never see this data and never transmit it.
  • No analytics cookies or pixel trackers are set by us.

Because no data leaves your device, we cannot sell, leak or misuse it — there is nothing on our servers to misuse. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain erases everything instantly.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. This site itself does not set cookies for its own operation — we use browser LocalStorage (which is not sent to any server) for your inputs, favorites list, language choice and theme preference. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings without losing site functionality.

Advertising is the only third-party data flow this site is designed to carry, and it is not active while the site is awaiting Google AdSense approval. The sections below describe what happens once advertising is enabled.

3. Google AdSense and third-party vendor cookies

This site is designed to serve ads through Google AdSense. During the pre-approval period no ad code, no advertising cookie and no ad request is present on any page. Once advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may set and read cookies in your browser:

  • Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this website and other sites on the Internet, including ads based on your prior browsing interests (personalized advertising).
  • The DART cookie — used by Google as a third-party vendor — enables ads on this site to be served based on your visit to this site and other sites across the web. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy, or by using the opt-out links in section 5 below.
  • Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site. We do not control those vendors' cookies and refer you to their own privacy policies.

These vendors may use data (such as cookies) to offer you more relevant ads and to measure ad performance. We do not receive or store your personal data through advertising; the exchange happens directly between your browser and Google.

4. GDPR — your consent and rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent local law apply. Under these rules:

  • You visit a purely informational, free service. We do not process your personal data ourselves.
  • Advertising cookies described in section 3 are set only where we have a legal basis — namely your consent. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, personalized advertising is served only after a choice is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. You can withdraw or change that choice at any time in the CMP's consent settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
  • You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction with respect to any data processed about you. Since we process no personal data ourselves, your main point of exercise is the advertising vendor (Google) — see section 5.
  • We do not sell your personal data and never will.

5. How to stop personalized advertising

You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google at any time:

  • Open Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ and turn off "Ads Personalization". This opt-out applies across sites that use Google advertising, including this one.
  • You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising via www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.com (EU).
  • Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings also stops advertising cookies — this does not break any of our tools.

Note: opting out does not remove ads from the site — it means the ads shown will no longer be tailored to your browsing.

6. Your data stays on your device

All tool calculations happen client-side, in JavaScript, with zero network calls. Your commute costs, salary numbers, tax checks and meeting notes are never transmitted, logged, stored on a server or backed up anywhere outside your browser. If you use Favorites (the ★ list), only a small local list of tool/article slugs is saved — no content.

7. Links to other sites

This site links to rtokit.com (our main site) and, in ads, to third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows (for example, when paid membership launches). Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We recommend checking this page occasionally.

9. Contact us
