What the free tier includes today
There is no trial clock and no locked feature hiding behind a button. Every tool on the site is fully usable by anyone with a browser:
- All 27 calculators and planners across six modules — commute cost, scheduling, meeting equity, gear, tax and daily boundaries — plus the cross-module checkers.
- Unlimited runs. Change an input as many times as you like; each edit recalculates instantly in the browser.
- Every export format. Copy-to-clipboard, share links and CSV export are not gated.
- Favorites and saved inputs. Starred tools and your last inputs are stored in LocalStorage on your own device.
- Bilingual interface. The English/中文 toggle sits in the navigation on every page.
- No account, ever required. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no login wall between you and a calculation.
The free-tier promise
Basic calculations stay free permanently. If Pro launches, it will add new depth — it will not move an existing free feature behind a paywall, cap how many times you can calculate, interrupt a result with a modal, or require an email address to see a number. That promise is the reason the Pro badge in the navigation links to this explanation instead of a checkout page.
What a future Pro tier would add
These items are on the roadmap as design goals, not as shipped products. Each one extends a workflow that already works for free:
- Multi-scenario reports. Compare two job offers, two commute patterns or two office-day plans side by side, and export a single annualized report instead of re-entering numbers tool by tool.
- Longitudinal tracking. Save weekly snapshots for the RTO Fairness Snapshot, After-Hours Meeting Load and Net Benefit Simulator, then chart how the numbers move month over month.
- Cross-device sync. Today your favorites and inputs live in one browser profile. A sync layer would let the same data follow you between laptop, phone and work machine — opt-in and encrypted.
- Ad-free browsing. Advertising funds the free tier. A paid tier would remove ad placements for members.
- Early access. New tools would reach members roughly four weeks before they appear on the public tools index.
How billing would work if Pro launches
Subscription checkout is planned through FastSpring as merchant of record, which handles cross-border VAT and sales tax for digital subscriptions; Stripe and PayPal are the fallback processors. None of this is live. There is no pricing table, no checkout button and no payment processing anywhere on this site today, and no card details are ever collected by these pages.
If you want a one-time note when Pro opens, email zjp133@outlook.com with "Pro notify" in the subject line. Your address is used for that single message and nothing else.
How roadmap items get decided
Priorities come from three signals: which free tools get used most, which questions arrive by email, and which requests repeat across workplace communities. A feature that only makes sense for a handful of users stays out. A feature that removes repetitive manual work from a tool people already use every week moves up. If an item on this page never ships, the free version of that tool keeps working exactly as it does now.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay to use the calculators?
No. All 27 tools are free and unlimited, including exports and repeated recalculation. No account is required.
Will free tools be removed when Pro launches?
No. The free-tier promise is explicit: existing basic calculations stay free. Pro would sell additional depth, not the basics.
Can I buy Pro right now?
No. There is no checkout, no price and no subscription on this site. The roadmap describes planned extras only.
Why is there advertising on a free site?
Ads cover hosting and maintenance so the toolbox can stay free. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out, is documented in the Privacy Policy.
How do I suggest a Pro feature?
Email zjp133@outlook.com with the tool name and the workflow you are trying to complete. Suggestions are read by a human and folded into the roadmap review.
